Nine killed in separate road accidents in Bihar

Nine persons, including three children and a woman, were killed and 15 others injured in road accidents in different parts of Bihar today.
Three persons were killed on the spot and six others were injured when a vehicle overturned and fell into a roadside ditch near Srirampur village under Akbarpur police station of Bihar's Bhagalpur district today, Akbarpur station house officer (SHO) Barun Kumar said.
The victims identified as Bajrangi Tanti (19), Kanhai Tanti (19) and Bikash Kumar (22), he said.
In Begusarai, two bikers were killed in a collision between their bike and a speeding truck last night at Barauni-Begusarai road under zero mile police station of Begusarai district, station house officer (SHO)Ajay Kumar Ajnabi said.
In Jamui, a scorpio vehicle hit a standing buldoger resulting in death of two children on the spot while others n were injured, Sikendra station incharge Sanjay Yadav said.
The children identified as Rampravesh Pandit (9) and Ayush Kumar (7).

In Khagaria, a woman Nanhki Devi (45) was killed and four others injured after a mud loaded truck overturned near Rajajan village under Mansi police station of Bihar's Khagaria district, Mansi station house officer Ramuday Tiwari said.
The truck has been seized and the driver managed to escape.
In Muzaffarpur, a school girl was hit by a speeding truck on NH28 near Manjhauli chowk resulting in her death on the spot, sadar police station in-charge Anil Jha said.
Angry villagers burnt a bus and smashed glasses of nearly two dozen buses and trucks on NH 28 against killing of the girl.
