"Kumar talks about a vision 2025 for development of Bihar, but has gone into alliance with retrograde forces of the 1990s. We want to ask him how he will take the state ahead by allying with RJD chief Lalu Prasad who dragged Bihar down," Bhupendra Yadav, BJP General Secretary and In-charge of Bihar told reporters here.
"Kumar has ignored basic things related to development in Bihar, so his 'dastak' (knocking at doors) campaign among the people will not help. I have been touring across the state and see lack of necessary growth here," he said.

Referring to International Yoga Day, he said "Yoga Day was celebrated in 176 countries on an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kumar and Prasad said much against it. But the fact is that they did not do anything to honour Bihar School of Yoga at Munger, which is the first of its kind institution and from where monks have gone world over to teach yoga and thousands of students got educated."
Yadav alleged that villages in riverine areas of the Ganga were without electricity and the state government did not spend even Rs 20 lakh to install solar power plants there.
He further alleged that Kumar indulged in a Rs 500 crore international museum project, but did not pay any attention towards constructing hostels and dormitories for students in the state.
