He also said the party will have to "answer for anti-national activities taking place" in Jammu and Kashmir.
"The BJP, for greed of power, is making all sorts of compromises on issues about which it has been known to hold strong views earlier," Kumar told reporters, when asked about waving of Pakistani flags at a public rally by separatist leader Masarat Alam in Jammu and Kashmir recently.
"New records are being made (in terms of anti-India activities taking place in Jammu and Kashmir)," the Chief Minister said.
Observing that 'anti-India' activities were taking place in Jammu and Kashmir at a time when the BJP was in power in the border state, he said the saffron party will have to answer for that.
Kumar said the activities in Jammu and Kashmir have torn into the saffron party's plank of 'nationalism and patriotism', besides its stand to strengthen foundations of the country.
