Bihar CM Nitish Kumar condoles Odisha hospital tragedy

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday condoled the death of over 22 people in a major fire at a hospital in Bhubaneshwar in the neighbouring state Odisha.

The Bihar CM said in a statement here that the state stood solidly with Odisha in this hour of calamity.

He prayed to the Almighty to provide strength to the bereaved families to bear the loss on account of the mishap.

Kumar, who is also president of JD(U), prayed for early recovery of those injured in the tragedy.

Last night's fire in Sum hospital in Odisha's capital Bhubaneshwar claimed 22 lives while 106 others were undergoing treatment in different hospitals after being shifted from there.
