He further gave instruction to pay pending amount of the beneficiaries whose documents have been authenticated.
Briefing about review meeting of Social Welfare Department by the CM last evening, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh said today that it was decided that at present pension would be paid quarterly and soon would be made monthly.
The review meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, minister concerned of the department Manju Varma, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and a host of other senior officials.
Expressing commitment towards women empowerment, the CM said at the meeting that a comprehensive campaign would be launched in the state from October 2 against dowry and child marriage.
