"If Nitish Kumar has the financial strength to implement schemes worth Rs 2.7 lakh crore, then why was he demanding special package? Then why is he doing politics of package for the last three years? If you cannot do with the package, then Rs 2.7 lakh crore is merely a attractive slogan," Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
"It is clear that Nitish Kumar does not like the Rs 1.25 lakh crore package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but wondered why he was opposed to it and did not ask for more if there were shortcomings?
"He is not liking this package. If there was any shortcoming in this package, he could have demanded more. But to criticise the package means unheeding Bihar's interests. This package is for the people of Bihar.
The BJP leader said Nitish is luring people in this election with talks of future and is not talking of all that he has done these years when in power.
