"On the direction of the chief minister a cheque of Rs 14,41,42,552 crore has been sent to Prime Minister Relief fund with a request to principal secretary of the PM to utilise it in extending assistance to victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal," an official statement said here.
The statement stated details of assistance extended by Bihar government to the people of Nepal when the earthquake ravaged that country in April.
The Bihar government, it said, sent buses to evacuate people stuck after earthquake, made available food items and established camps on the international borders for the victims.
