Nitish holds first meeting to implement his 'seven resolves'

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today took a presentation by Bihar Vikas Mission, constituted to implement his pre-election 'seven resolves', and directed various departments to successfully implement them.
Kumar said a lot has been done in the road, education, power, and health sectors in the state but more needs to be done to fasten growth, an official statement said here.
He instructed officials to have better coordination amongst departments for execution of the programmes under the 'seven resolves'.
The state Cabinet had last month approved a proposal to set up a Bihar Vikas Mission to implement Kumar's 'seven resolves' in the next five years.
His election strategist Prashant Kishor was made a member of the mission, headed by the Chief Minister himself.
The seven resolves are - Rs 4 lakh loan credit card for students, a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 for eight months twice in two years for students to help them search jobs, free wi-fi facilities in colleges and universities, setting up of a venture capital of Rs 5,000 crore for young entrepreneurs, toilets in all households, free drinking water and free electricity connection to every household.
