"A Prime Minister can campaign for his party. But in Bihar elections, the PM has no control over language and is using words like 'shaitan and ahankari for rivals and questioned their DNA," Kumar said addressing an election rally at Lalganj in Vaishali district.
Kumar said "he (Modi) raised question over my DNA. He called Lalu Prasad a 'shaitan' and me an 'ahankari'. Does speaking in such a language behove a person sitting on the responsible post of a PM?"
Aiming to cash on in the PM's DNA barb at him, Kumar linked it with the pride of Bihar and exhorted the people to avenge it by voting aggressively in favour of grand secular alliance in elections.
Canvassing for JD(U) candidate Munna Shukla, Kumar highlighted the "failure" of the union government on all fronts despite the PM making "tall" promises.
"Modiji had promised people during parliamentary poll that he will solve all problems in the country with the snapping of fingers. But is it visible on the ground in one and half year of NDA rule?" he said.
"More than 300 districts of the country are in the grip of drought-like situation. But ministers have no time to attend to the problem as they are making rounds in Bihar in elections to win the state for the party," he said.
He also raised the issue of rise in price of pulses and poked fun at the Modi's promise of "achhe din" (good days) to the people.
