"The government is giving great push to telecom and broadband networks. We will host first SANOG workshop in India that will give an overview on latest technologies and infrastructure required for telecom and data networks to pave way for new entrants in the sector," Internet Service Provider Association Of India (ISPAI) President Rajesh Chharia told PTI.
SANOG (South Asian Network Operators Group) is a non-profit organisation and its workshops are held in South Asian countries.
"SANOG workshops are vendor neutral. Leading companies in every segment coach people. Following huge response to SANOG, ISPAI is also starting INOG which will coach youth in B and C grade cities and towns on setting up data networks," he said.
Besides technologies, the workshop will coach participants on issues around security and regulatory issues around networks.
