At least two students of the National Law Institute University (NLIU) here have filed complaints with the UGC's anti-ragging helpline accusing their seniors of indulging in ragging, sexual abuse and alcohol consumption on the campus.
The director of NLIU, S S Singh, said a probe has been ordered into the matter but claimed that the complaints were not entirely true as some people named in the complaint did not exist.
One of the complaints lodged by a male student on July 20 said, "A (female) senior is molesting me again and again."
It alleged that the senior, after getting drunk, sexually abused him ."I got away anyhow, but I don't think that I'll be always saved. This place is a hell," it said.
The student alleged that even teachers and wardens knew that liquor was consumed in the hostel, yet they turned a blind eye to it.
Another student, who recently joined the campus, alleged that seniors ragged freshers and even forced them to watch porn movies till 5 in the morning.
