The students have been demanding NLIU director S S Singh's removal for "harassment" and "making objectionable remarks against female students", the charges refuted by him.
What transpired between the students and the CJ Gupta, however, could not be known despite repeated calls to a delegation member.
Talking to PTI, a final year student of NLIU, on the condition of anonymity, said, "A group of 10 students today reached Jabalpur and met Chief Justice Gupta."
Meanwhile, the 'dharna' agitation by the students seeking NLIU director's removal, continued on the seventh day in Bhopal today. However, the stundets held a meeting late this evening to decide whether to continue with the stir following the delegation's meeting with the high court CJ.
The students are also boycotting classes in support of their charter of demands, in which they have also raised several other issues related to their law school.
