The BJP would not forge any pre-electoral alliance with Mizo National Front, a constituent of the BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) and would contest all the seats in the Mizoram Assembly election to be held next year, a senior party leader said today.
BJP National Secretary for Scheduled Tribe Morcha, Hayithung Bill Lotha told media persons here that the BJP would contest all the 40-seats in the Mizoram Assembly election.
He claimed the BJP would win the Mizoram Assembly election and would form the government in the state.
Lotha said the party would not announce the name of the chief ministerial candidate for the Mizoram Assembly election.
The BJP National Secretary for Scheduled Tribe Morcha said he and other party leaders had so far visited 20 assembly constituencies including the remotest Siaha and Lawngtlai districts.
Lotha also claimed that the BJP would also form the government in Tripura and also form coalition government with like-minded parties in Meghalaya and Nagaland.
