Chief Executive Officer of the Ajmer Dargah committee M A Khan issued a revised order today after an earlier order issued by him received flak.
The CEO had issued the first order pertaining to the security of the dargah in night hours on April 20 directing that no one will be allowed to stay on the premises after the entry to the mausoleum is closed.
The order invited sharp reactions.
The All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board condemned the first order. National President of the Board Ashraf Kichhouchhwi said that the order restricting the entry after 11 pm was condemnable.
"Ajmer dargah is a very important place and we are concerned for its security. I issued the revised order today in which beggars who disturb pilgrims have been asked to leave the premises during the night," the CEO said.
