No casualty due to malaria

There has been no death due to
malaria in Mizoram during this year, state health and family welfare department officials said today.
One the occasion of world malaria day today the officials said that since January to March this year, 43,946 blood samples have been tested out of which 969 people were found to be infected with malaria.
The officials added that 21 people died due to malaria in 2013.
