"There is no reason to raise any objection over the meeting as through such meetings the Governor can give advice to the officers and share his views but he cannot issue directions as his advice is not binding on the government," he said.
HPCC chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu and former minister Chander Kumar had sharply reacted to the move of the Governor holding a meeting with officers and even accused him of running a parallel government.
Referring to the vigilance probe into the alleged properties of former chief P K Dhumal and his family members, the Chief Minister said whatever is visible to eye is just tip of the iceberg.
More details would be available and made known to people as the probe progresses, he said, adding that the state government has entrusted the probe to Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau and not accepted the advice of the Vigilance bureau for CBI probe.
