"So far, we have not got any evidence of foul play in the case. The postmortem conducted on Bali's body showed that there were no external injury marks," Mohali SSP G P S Bhullar told reporters here.

He said the real cause of Bali's death would be known only after the viscera report comes out, adding the police are investigating the case from all angles.

"We will probe all angles leading to her death," he said.

39-year-old Bali, a former Assistant Advocate General of Haryana, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her house in Mohali yesterday.

Bhullar said the police had interrogated two persons - Panchkula-based scribe Niranjan Nandal and advocate Ajit Hooda - in connection with the case, but little came of it.

"We still haven't made much headway. We will question more people who were in touch with her and those she used to meet," he said.
