There was no visible impact in Uttar Pradesh of the 10-day farmers' strike, with the supply of fruits and vegetables remaining normal across the state on the third day of the agitation today.
The stir has been launched by farmers' organisations in several northern states to press for their demands, including loan waiver and right price for their produce.
The Rashtriya Kisan Manch, an organisation working for the welfare of the farmers in UP, has distanced itself from the protest, its spokesperson said here today.
