DMK Treasurer M K Stalin today alleged that the four-year AIADMK rule in Tamil Nadu had not seen improvement in any area but only stoppage of various schemes, including Sethusamudram Shipping Canal project.
"No improvements are visible during the four-year AIADMK rule, but only discontinuation of various schemes like SSCP, postponement of the Global Investors Meet and stoppage of the connecting plan of Tamirabarani river project," he said while addressing party workers at nearby Othakadai.
Stalin alleged that there was no proper inquiry into the suicide of Muthukumarasamy, executive engineer of the agricultural department, in February.
"The IAS official inquiring into the granite scam was being threatened, while cases were being filed against press," he said.
Stalin alleged that 84 lakh people registered in employment exchanges in the last four years were yet to get jobs.
