"No Moti (pearl) but only Modi will come out of it," Congress said today, taking potshots at the Manthan Shivir of the RSS in Amravati in Maharashtra.
"The poor guys. This is known that no pearl (Moti) can come out of it. Only Modi will come out of it (the churning). That's why I said, the poor guys," party spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary told reporters here.
The Shivir began yesterday and BJP national president Rajnath Singh reached there today to attend the day-long 'closed-door' deliberations.
The week-long national 'Manthan Shibir' is expected to see deliberations over the Sangh's strategies and policies for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
On the statement of the BJP over sliding rupee, Chowdhary said "they are showing their class and I pity them and their intelligence."
"What was the condition of the Rupee when they were in power? I think they are weak in finance and economics. BJP has very little to contribute other than making negative comments", she added.
