Denying reports about removing Radhakrishnan, Chennithala told reporters here that no discussions had been held in this regard either with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy or within the party.
"We conducted a meeting with the Home Minister regarding the progress of investigation in the solar case and there are no issues on his continuing in the post', Chennithala said, adding ADGP had been asked to investigate reports on leakage of phone call details of some Ministers with the solar scam accused Saritha S Nair.
The scam pertains to fraudulent deals running into huge sums pushed by Saritha and accomplice Biju.
Allegations had also come to the fore stating that the Home Minister along with a key figure in Chandy's office was instrumental in releasing the call list details involving a faction of Congress leaders and some in his own group in the Congress.
Chennithala said Chief Whip P C George needs to show "some maturity and patience" and should exercise caution while making comments.
On the issue relating to JDS MLA from Angamally and former LDF Minister Jose Thettayil, who is embroiled in a sex scam, he said the opposition Left Front was not confident of facing another byelection which was why they were not demanding the resignation of Thettayil, who has gone into hiding since the scam broke out two weeks ago.
