The 24-year-old actor, who made his Bollywood debut with Prabhu Deva's 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya', said he may take up production work in near future.
"Taking up production activity (in TIPS) at present is too early. Let me enjoy being an actor for a while. My father and uncle are doing a pretty good job. Also, I am the first creative person of my family, so my current focus is on acting," Girish told PTI in an interview.
"I am happy that I have got some offers outside of TIPS, which is the area of my focus. I want to move outside of the banner and create my own identity," he said.
"With every film and every decision of an actor it is hard to make an identity of his own. In every film you have to try and prove yourself. I think many superstars have gone through this. So its natural and it takes time to create it," he added.

"Nowadays, if you see all the actors, young generation and even the older ones, people expect quality work from them. My contemporaries and the coming generation have raised the benchmark very high. So, as an actor it requires you to give a very confident performance in your debut film," he added.
Girish is currently reading couple of scripts and contemplating on finalising some of them.
The newbie actor recently participated in a Peace March organized by Sadhu Vaswani Misison in Pune.
