Stating this at a Sangat Darshan programme at Punjab Bhawan here, he told the applicants that as per the state's transfer policy, the last date for transfers has already elapsed and no request will be entertained during the sangat darshans for any transfer.
He said employees can file their requests in May next year when the state comes up with its new transfer policy.
During the Sangat Darshan where public grievances are redressed instantly, the Deputy CM heard the grievances of 150 persons and directed the concerned authorities to redress them.
