BSP today ruled out pre-poll alliance with any party ahead of general elections next year.
"BSP will contest general elections alone. We will not make pact with any political party," BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya told reporters at Meenapur near here last evening.
Maurya, who is also Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, criticised the Akilesh Yadav government, alleging "it has proved to be a failure on all fronts".
