"There is no such proposal in the Ministry," Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said in Lok Sabha.
The maximum number of instances of passengers behaving in unruly manner were reported by SpiceJet (20), followed by Indigo (12) and AirAsia India (9).
According to the Minister, while full-service carrier Vistara reported six such cases, budget airline GoAir had five cases of unruly passengers reported from its flights.
Jet Airways had one such instance since July, Sinha said in a written reply.
As per IATA, in 2015 there were 10,854 reported cases of unruly incidents across airlines worldwide, which translate into one incident for every 1,205 flights.
