Allaying apprehensions about the displacement of Punjabi farmers settled in Haryana, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said his government was committed to protecting their interests and assured they will not be evicted from their lands.

He was reacting to the charge of Akalis that Punjabi Sikh farmers are likely to face eviction from Haryana.
