No relief from heat in UP

Weather was mainly dry over Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the weather office said.
According to the MeT department, day temperatures rose in the Varanasi and Gorakhpur divisions but fell in the Allahabad, Lucknow and Kanpur divisions.
The highest temperature recorded in the state was at Etawah which sizzled at 46 degrees Celsius.
