No respite from scorching heat in Rajasthan

Rajasthan continued to suffer from scorching heat at most of the parts amid dust storms today, as Kota was recorded the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 43.5 degrees Celsius.
Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 42.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Jodhpur (42.3), Churu (42.2), Ajmer (42.1), Jaipur (42), Pilani (41.7), Bikaner (41.6), Dabok and Ganganagar (both 41.4), and Jaisalmer (39.3).
The weather department has predicted duststorm and thunderstorm with rain as very likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
Also, duststorm with squall is likely to occur at isolated places in the state, it said.
