While she was busy working in the fourth season of hit American espionage thriller "Homeland" last year, the 33-year-old actress did not have any release this year.
"For me it is quality over quantity. It is not possible for me do all types of roles. Plus, I am starting now, I cannot be dictating terms like that. I am happy the way it (career) is going," Nimrat told PTI.
The actress is looking forward to her next film "Airlift" in which she will star alongside Akshay Kumar. It will release in January next year.

But Nimrat said that the trend of Indian actors appearing in TV projects in the US is nothing new.
"There are so many Indians who have good roles in American TV shows like Kunal Nayyar, Archie Punjabi and even Irrfan. I think Irrfan is a pioneer in that sense. This is nothing new, it has been happening for a while. It is just that more attention is given to it now," she said.
Nimrat is excited about the screening of her Vasan Bala-directed film, "Peddlers" at the ongoing 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival in Mumbai.
"I have a very special role in the film. It is a great film. I wish the team all the very best and hope that the film gets a theatrical release soon."
The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Kriti Malhotra and Siddharth Menon.
