There was no scope for manipulation during an Army recruitment rally, Brigaider P S Bajwa, Deputy Director General (Recruiting) Bangalore Zone, said here today.
Addressing reporters here, Bajwa said the recruiting officials were managing all the activities with complete transparency by using fully-automated system and information technology.
His statement assumes significance in the backdrop of police taking into custody six youth from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly producing fake domicile documents, including Aadhaar cards, during the Army recruitment rally held here on Sunday last.
The forgery came to light as Army recruiting officials detected that documents submitted by two of the qualified candidates were not genuine.
Further questioning revealed that four others from the state had also come to participate in the rally with forged documents, but had failed to pass the physical test.
The 10-day Army recruitment rally, which began on April 18, is for those from seven southern districts of Kerala.
