The Asian Development Bank Summit, which opened today, went off smoothly without disrupting traffic in the area, a senior police official said.

Around 700 vehicles passed through the Noida Toll Plaza to the event venue at the India Expo Centre here. The visitors entered the city via DND Flyway.
District police were posted at regular distance of a kilometre from the flyover to the event venue. At the event site, CISF team was incharge and conducted the security measures without any hassle to visitors.
Greater Noida commuters via the Expressway were not affected as there were no traffic restrictions.
Even though the Pari Chowk service lane till the venue was restricted, as it was kept for the visitors and security personnels, residents did not face much problems as alternate routes were made available to them.
District administrations have made accommodation available for security staff at ten schools here, which have declared holidays for a few days.
Though at one place some organisation held protest and tried to create problems but senior police officers managed to keep them away from the event site.
