The Institute's director M D Tiwari confirmed the participation of Serge Haroche, the Nobel winning physicist in 2012 and Joseph Sifakis, winner of the 2007 Turing award, also known as Nobel prize for computing, at the week-long conclave.
"Apart from the Nobel Laureates, a number of accomplished scientists from the US, Canada, Russia and Denmark would also be taking part in the conclave," he said.
About 200 students from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda and Russia will also be availing the opportunity, Tiwari said.
The Science Conclave, which aims to inspire students to undertake advanced studies and researches in basic sciences, will commence on December 8 and conclude on December 14.
