The 45-year-old singer, who released his debut solo album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in 2011, is planning to take a well-earned rest once he wraps up his North American dates in November, reported Daily Star.
"I won't be recording again for a while as I don't want the follow-up to be compared to Oasis' critically-panned third record Be Here Now.
"I'm taking a well earned break after this. Why mess with brilliance? Look what it did to the aftermath of Morning Glory. Be Here Now?," he said.
