A team of Fortis Hospital here has reached Nepal and Metro Group of Hospitals team was also leaving for the tragedy-stricken nation.
"Today Fortis hospital reached Kathmandu with medical supplies and other necessary goods to provide emergency medical help to quake victims," said Dr AK Aggarwal, president IMA Noida, and Chairman, City Hospital.
Dr VS Chauhan, Chairman, Prakash Hospital said that medicines and other required materials have been dispatched to Nepal under the banner of Indian Medical Association (Noida).
Nursing homes and clinics of Noida are also contributing for relief work, said Dr KC Sood, representative, Association of Medical Clinics of Noida and chairman Rashmi Medical Centre.
"Hospitals on appeal from District Magistrate NP Singh have offered free emergency medical treatment to relatives of the earthquake victims living here in Noida.
"On hearing the news of death of their relatives, several Nepalese living here had gone in shock and some had fainted who were rushed to hospitals. Hospital offered free treatment to them," Aggarwal said.
