The company is estimated to have sold around 86.3 million mobile devices globally during October-December 2012, compared to 82.9 million units in July-September 2012, the mobile major said in a statement today.
Nokia had reported 3.5 billion euro (around Rs 25,210 crore) revenue in the previous quarter.
The total mobile phone sales in October-December include 9.3 million units of Asha full-touch phones, the company said in its the preliminary Q4 financial information.
"We focused on our priorities and as a result we sold a total of 14 million Asha smartphones and Lumia smartphones while managing our costs efficiently, and Nokia Siemens Networks delivered yet another very good quarter," Nokia CEO Stephen Elop said in the statement.
The company said it estimates net sales of smart devices to reach 1.2 billion euro (Rs 8,588 crore).
Nokia expects it total smartphone volumes in the reported quarter to reach 15.9 million units, comprising 9.3 million Asha full touch smartphones, 4.4 million Lumia smartphones and 2.2 million Symbian smartphones.

Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks currently estimates total net sales in the fourth quarter 2012 at Rs 28,759 crore (4 billion euro), the report said.
The company will release fourth quarter and full year 2012 results on January 24, 2013, it said.
