Ten out of 18 seats of JMM are from its traditional stronghold, Santhal Pargana.
"Some political parties are now visiting Santhal Pargana with the sole motive to deceive the poor and innocent tribals," Soren said while addressing party workers meeting here.
No political party could surge ahead of the JMM in Santhal Pargana, Soren said adding, those parties trying to "deceive the poor" were bound to face the music.
Taking on the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, the chief minister accused it of failing to control price rise.
"They captured power on false assurances and promises. Prices of essential commodities have not come down yet," Soren said without taking the name of BJP.
