Actor Noomi Rapace has been roped in as a series regular in season two of "Jack Ryan".
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Prometheus" star will play Harriet "Harry" Baumann, a "highly capable, sharply intelligent and intoxicatingly charming" agent with Germany's secret intelligence service who crosses paths with John Krasinski's CIA analyst Ryan in South America.
Apart from Krasinski, the series also features Wendell Pierce and Abbie Cornish.
Amazon announced "Jack Ryan", based on Tom Clancy's mega-successful series of novels, in August 2016. The eight-episode first season will debut on Amazon Prime August 31.
