In an arrangement that will see the North Corporation leave its imprint on a French public space, the civic agency will develop a park in the city of Pau Bearn, whose municipal body will in turn adopt and develop two parks in the NDMC area here.
A French delegation led by chairman of the chamber of commerce and industry of Pau Bearn, Patrick de Stampa, today met North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) mayor Ravinder Gupta and other leaders of the civic body at its headquarters.
The two sides decided that Pau Bearn's civic body would adopt two parks in the NDMC area and develop these in French landscaping style. The North Corporation will for its part adopt a park in Pau Bearn and develop it, said a senior municipal corporation officer.
They also agreed to sign an MoU for cooperation and coordination in areas such as city administration, cultural exchange, tourism and environment management, the official said.
