North Eastern School continues winning run in U-14 category

Tyndale came into the match high on confidence after winning their opening encounter yesterday, but were utterly outplayed by the North East outfit. The Manipur team opened the account through Mohammad Nisar in the third minute and scored two goals in two minutes to close the contest within five minutes of the start.

T Sunday Noon then chipped in with a hat-trick, while H Shailesh and T Langakham scored two each to complete the rout.

North Eastern had thrashed Bhonsala Military school 8-0 in their opening encounter.

In the day's other matches, Naresh of New Sunrise Senior Secondary School, Haryana scored four goals to help his team thrash Air Force Bal Bharti School, New Delhi 5-0. The final scoreline, however, did not do justice to the effort shown by the Air Force school players.

Nagaland's Kiyeka also pumped in four goals for Greenwood Higher Secondary School, Dimapur in their 8-0 rout of Piloo Mody High Sc hool, Panchmahal, Gujarat.

The last match of the day was played between NCC (WB&S) Bengal and Coast Guard Public School, Daman & Diu. The match was dominated by the Bengal team. NCC (WB&S) beat the Daman team 14-0.
