North India continues to reel under blistering heat wave

North India today continued to reel under heat wave conditions with the mercury settling above 41 degrees in many states including Delhi, Haryana and Punjab.
Delhiites experienced another sizzling day with the maximum temperature settling three notches above normal at 42.3 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was also recorded at threes notches above the season's average at 28 degrees Celsius as compared to yesterday's 27.6 degrees Celsius, a MeT department official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 32 and 16 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted possibility of dust storm in few areas for tomorrow.
In Haryana, Bhiwani sizzled at 43.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal while Hisar also braved a hot day at 41 deg C, two notches above normal.
Heat wave also swept Karnal at 42 deg C, four notches above normal while Ambala recorded a maximum of 41.4 deg C, a MeT official in Chandigarh said.

The Chandigarh residents also experienced another hot day with the mercury settling at 41 deg C, three notches more than normal.
Amritsar in Punjab also braved the hot weather recording a high of 43 deg C, five notches above normal.
Ludhiana witnessed a hot day at 42.5 deg C while Patiala's maximum settled at 42.2 deg C, four notches above normal.
