In Delhi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees celsius, one notch above normal and the minimum was 24.6 degrees celsius, two degrees less than the usual.
The humidity levels oscillated between 92 per cent to 63 per cent. The Met office predicted light rains in the city tomorrow.
Uttar Pradesh received moderate to heavy rainfall and thundershowers at a few places while one person died after falling in flood waters in Barabanki district.
The Met office has forecast that rain and thundershowers would occur at a few places over the state during the next 48 hours.
A report from Barabanki said that a person Batohi (60) died after he fell in flood waters outside Karauni village.
Central Water Commission sources said that Ghaghra was rising and was flowing 12 cms above the danger mark in Barabanki.
