Mercury rose by one to four degrees at many places due to dry and hot weather conditions in the state as compared to yesterday.
The maximum temperature stood between 41 and 44.8 degrees Celsius at many places in western Rajasthan.
Churu recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius followed by Ganganagar 44.2, Kota 44.1, Bikaner 44, Chittorgarh and Jodhpur 43.7 each, Jaisalmer 43.6, Jaipur 43, and Ajmer 42 degrees Celsius.
No respite from the heat wave is expected in the next couple of days in the state, a forecast said.
