North West will have highest voters for LS poll in Delhi

North West Delhi has the highest number of voters in the national capital for coming Lok Sabha polls, according to final rolls announced by Delhi's Chief Electoral Office today.
Chandni Chowk recorded the lowest voters' enrollment--the figure being at 13,92,395 which includes 7,61,364 males and 6,30,980 females, Delhi CEO Vijay Dev said.
A total 1,39, 2395 number of people have enrolled themselves from North-West Delhi region and are eligible to exercise their franchise. Out of the total, 11, 56, 697 male voters and 9,37,073 female voters have been enrolled.
North-West is followed by West Delhi which has recorded an enrollment of 19,22, 339 voters who include 10,44,480 males and 8,77,771 females,
Next in terms of number is North-East Delhi which enrolled 18,67,000 voters including 10,29, 098 males and 8,37,810 females.
17,33,731 people from East Delhi will cast their votes, out of whom 9,68,102 are males and 7,65,514 females.

South Delhi registered 16,42,875 voters and New Delhi recorded an enrollment of 14, 08,231 voters.
Dev said 1,20,60,493 voters have been enrolled as per final rolls published on January 31, who include 66,84,476 male voters and 53,76,017 female voters including 638 others(transgenders).
However, those who are not enrolled and are eligible to vote can submit their forms till March 12 (ten days before the last date of nominations on March 22) to get their names enrolled.
