"Let me put it officially. The Delhi Daredevils did not approach anyone for any position apart from the existing support staff that is in place. Any news of anyone (read Mushtaq) being approached for a coaching role is absolutely not true to the best of my knowledge," Dua told PTI today.
The DD CEO also made it categorically clear that there is no chance of adding a member to the existing support staff structure as the management is happy with the efforts put in by the current regime.
Mushtaq had yesterday claimed that DD chief coach Gary Kirsten had approached his agent for rekindling his association with the franchise. Mushtaq had stated that he turned down the offer to take up an assignment with Pakistan's national team.
