Condemning the incidents, she said action should be initiated in both the cases as per law.
"There was not much of a basic difference between the snooping episode allegedly involving Narendra Modi and the latest sexual assault case of a woman journalist by Tehelka Editor Tejpal as both the incidents are an attack on the dignity of women," Dikshit said.
She was replying to a question whether she felt that there was any basic difference between the two cases.
Dikshit termed the alleged sexual assault of the woman journalist by Tejpal as "shocking".
"It has come as a shock to all of us. I feel that implementation of rules and regulations of the Supreme Court by the administration of corporate sectors should be done and they should, in fact, evolve a mechanism so that they are followed," Dikshit said at an interaction at the Indian Women Press Corps.
