There were rumours that the 23-year-old actress, who made her debut with Karan Johar's "Student of the Year", will finally work with his father Mahesh Bhatt's banner in the third instalment of "Aashiqui" film series.
"In my knowledge no 'Aashiqui 3' is happening right now. I am not offered anything like that," Alia told reporters here while promoting her upcoming film "Kapoor & Sons" here.
Directed by Shakun Batra, the film also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. It will hit theatres this Friday.
Alia has been in the capital since last two days and celebrated her birthday during the promotions of "Kapoor & Sons". She rang in her special day with the cast and crew of "Kapoor & Sons".
The actress said her father Mahesh Bhatt was the first one to wish her.
