According to a statement of NCP, interacting with surfers on party's Facebook page today, Bhujbal said the Maratha reservation should be provided without hurting the rights of the OBCs', who account for 54 per cent of the population in the country and the state.
During the online interaction for over two hours, the OBC leader said there are 370 castes in the OBC category and he sympathises with the poor sections in the Maratha community.
Bhujbal, who is also the Tourism Minister, said Central funds have been availed for repair and maintenance of small and big forts in the state.
There are a total of 360 forts, of which some are with the Archaeological Survey of India and some with the state government's Archaeological Survey Department, he said adding there is immense employment opportunity in the field of tourism.
