The 34-year-old actor made his Bollywood debut with the 2011 John Abraham-Genelia D'Souza starrer "Force" as the menacing antagonist, Vishnu.
"I don't fear getting stereotyped. People already know me as an action hero and frankly, I enjoy it. I am one of the few actors who does hard core action stunts. I am very proud of it. I love the action hero tag," the actor told PTI.
Jamwal, who was seen performing adrenaline-pumping stunts in the 2013 action-thriller "Commando - A One Man Army", says even though a little bit of action would not hurt, he is open to try other genres as well.
The actor will be next seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming drama "Yaara" and is all praise for the director.

"I have never worked with a National-award-winning director before. The experience has been absolutely incredible. We both have a Delhi connect and there is a great understanding. It has been a learning experience working with him."
The actor also praised his "Yaara" co-stars Shruti Haasan and Amit Sadh, with whom he is sharing screen space for the first time.
"Amit, on the other hand, is a great guy. We instantly hit off and became great friends. He is fun to work with," he said.
Jamwal was in the capital to support Pro Kabaddi franchise, Dabang Delhi.
The actor, who has himself played the game as an amateur, believes the league will give a push to Kabaddi and take it to a new level.
The actor said "Commando 2" is currently in its pre-production stage and will feature a fresh star cast with an entirely new storyline.
