Makers of Sidharth Malhotra- Jacqueline Fernandez starrer "A Gentleman" have rubbished reports that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has raised objection over a scene in the film.
According to some reports, the CBFC has asked the makers of "A Gentleman" to cut short a kissing scene between the lead actors.
"I am surprised how the reports came up and who is telling such stories. I don't know why there is a big deal about kissing scenes. It is not cut. So the report is not true," directors of the film, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK told reporters.
The duo along with the lead stars of "A Gentleman" were talking to media here today at a promotional event of the movie.
On reports that he and his rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt have called it quits, Sidharth said, "Ask a question properly. Lot has been said (on the matter)."
The film's latest track "Bandook Meri Laila" was also launched at the event where Sidharth hummed a few lines along with music composer duo Sachin-Jigar.
"A Gentleman" is set to release on August 25.
