Meanwhile, the ruling BJP also observed anti-black money day across the state by holding seminars on the benefits of demonetisation.
Congress workers took out a candle march to protest against demonetisation. The protest was organised across all the district headquarters of the state.
While addressing a protest organised at Roshanpura Square in Bhopal, former union minister Suresh Pachouri alleged that the note-ban has badly hit the common men, traders and farmers.
MP Congress Committee (MPCC) chief Arun Yadav alleged that note-ban is the biggest scam of the century.

"Note-ban was the biggest scam of the century. The country has suffered immensely due to the discontinuation of high value currency notes. People are still facing the bad impact of this decision," he alleged.
Yadav said that all the claims made by the prime minister are the bunch of lies.
On the occasion, Congress workers also released black balloons and sported black badges.
The BJP observed anti-black money day in the state and held torch rallies besides holding seminars about the benefits of demonetisation.
"BJP organised torch processions and organised symposiums in 833 mandals across all the districts of state," Bhopal Member of Parliament (MP) Alok Sanjar said.
